James Cliffe,  Head of Business Banking UK at HSBC Commercial Banking

James leads HSBC's Business Banking Team which looks after one million business customers across the UK. James has 20 years banking experience in Business, Corporate and Wholesale banking. Starting his career with National Australia Bank, James more latterly worked at Barclays before joining HSBC in 2014. He has gained experience in relationship management, business development, credit risk and leadership positions through his career. As a relationship manager James worked across the full spectrum of business and corporate customers from start up businesses through to FTSE 100 companies.

Supporting SME's is key to helping our economy prosper and James and his team are keen to help businesses grow through providing insight, connecting entrepreneurs to opportunities, and helping them with their funding needs. James also sits on the Leadership Team for The Prince's Business Emergency Resilience Group which helps businesses and communities across the UK to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies such as flooding, cyber-attacks and civil unrest. He also sits on the Corporate Committee for the British Bankers Association.

Outside of work James coaches a local junior football team and has recently completed the World Marathon Majors series. He is married with 3 children and is a keen supporter of Huddersfield Town football club.

Award-winning entrepreneur and innovator Margaret Wood founded ICW.

A scientist through and though she understands the complexities involved in creating the perfect product for industry and appreciates the demands that all business managers have on them giving her the ability to deliver hi quality designs on time and within budget.

She is a multi award winner and was Women Inventors in Industry award after developing a touch-sensitive window system for public transport.

Margaret has been recognised for her contribution to science, engineering and business with the IoD Special Judges Award, Yorkshire Business Ambassador, 2012, Wakefield Express Business Person of the Year, 2012 and the MBE for services to Business and Industry in Yorkshire and the Humber from HRH The Queen in the New Year’s Honours 2011.

Alexa Greaves, Managing Director at AAG Systems

Alexa Greaves graduated from Bradford University with a degree in Business Studies. After spending the summer working in Sweden in the hospitality industry she then began her career working at Chemical Bank in the foreign exchange market.

After setting up AAG Finance in 2002 she moved to Sheffield with her 2 children. In 2009 she started AAG Systems which invested in a group of individuals who had found themselves out of work due to the failure of their previous employer. This venture took her into a very male dominated and technical marketplace. AAG now employs over 40 people all within 7 years.

Alexa hasn’t stopped there. AAG is a provider of cutting edge services and solutions, the latest being custom made mobile devices.

Alexa is also the 2015 Overall Winner for the Forward Ladies National Women In Business Awards.
