CELEBRATING THE CENTENARY OF THE WOMEN'S VOTE

This year in The UK we are celebrating a HUGE milestone: it’s 100 years since the Representation of the People Act 1918 first gave women the right to vote.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, we will be holding a series of events, debates, thought-provoking discussions and features of inspirational male and female change agents throughout the year. This is an excellent opportunity for us to look back on what has been achieved so far and how we can further shape the future of work.

Now, more than ever, there’s a strong call-to-action to press forward and progress gender parity. A call to motivate and unite to think, act and be gender inclusive.

Forward Ladies, in partnership with LCF Law and AQL will be celebrating this milestone with a day of inpirational speakers, networking and debate on gender parity.

Join us to celebrate on 2nd March in Leeds. Let’s accelerate gender parity. Collectively, let’s #PressForProgress.

#PRESSFORPROGRESS

“Women are often given less credit for successful outcomes and blamed more for failures. And when we celebrate our accomplishments, we are often penalised for self-promotion. As a result, women’s contributions can go unnoticed. When women celebrate one another’s accomplishments, we’re all lifted up. ”
